Congratulations to the North Sydney Bears on securing their second Knock-On Effect NSW Cup Minor Premiership in a row, 2023 & 2024. So proud of the whole playing and coaching team and JJ Lawson will be right behind you as you head into the major semi-final on Sunday 15th September at Leichhardt Oval.

It takes 26 rounds to be named Minor Premiers. 26 rounds of wins, losses, and draws. 26 rounds of dedication, commitment, and sheer heart. And the Bears has now done it two years in a row – a great achievement for a non-NRL team. It is also fantastic to see two foundation clubs (both currently non-NRL clubs) finish in the top two of the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup. Well done to the Newtown Jets for finishing second.
